I read because it helps me connect to my own life. Problems that I see in books I somehow relate to my own life. It relaxes me to read because when I get into a good book my life seems to fade away and its almost as if I'm in the story itself. I like this because if I'm ever stressed out or am dealing with a difficulty in life and I want to get away from it all I know i can just pick up a book and start reading. Sometimes I just read for the fun of it because getting into a story and connecting to the characters can be a great adventure.
I preferably
like to read books with teenagers as the main characters because it is easier
to connect with their emotions and what they are doing. I also read because it helps me strengthen my reading and writing skill. It
enhances my vocabulary and allows me to become more fluent with my reading. I
read because it lets my imagination flow and lets me imagine stories and
situations that could never happen. I can imagine the world in a apocalyptic
state or something like me flying through space.

Good descriptions of how reading can make make life "fade away" and send us on an adventure. You make a good point about how reading can help make us better writers.
